Music Among the Memorials

Join us Friday, July 27, at 6:00 pm for a free concert showcasing the popular Connecticut trio Last Fair Deal.

Known for their stellar vocals and unique acoustic synergy, guitarist Paul Howard, fiddler Tom Hagymasi, and banjo player and mandolinist Phil Zimmerman will perform an eclectic selection of old-time string band, bluegrass, swing, and popular music.

Last Fair Deal has redrawn the map of American roots music with their energy and creativity. Influenced by bluegrass, jazz, acoustic rock and contemporary singer-songwriters, their repertoire include original music as well as interpretations of classic songs from John Hartford, Gillian Welch, the Beatles, Nat King Cole, John Hiatt, The Band, and Bob Dylan.

The concert will be held on the lawn between the Garden and Cedar Mausoleums. Bring blankets, chairs and picnic dinners for a musical evening to remember. The rain date is Saturday, July 28 at 6:00 p.m.

This free concert is made possible through the generous support of the Evelyn W. Preston Memorial Trust Fund, Bank of America, N. A., Trustee.
